To The Coltsfoot[Verse]
Dear coltsfoot! You are not the most
distinguished plant the cultures host.
Though, you are strong, and lovely too,
the way you first and foremost do.
[Verse 2]
You take the step as soon as snow
has melted. You do start the show.
Your courage is magnificent.
There is not much encouragement.
[Chorus]
And ugly you are not at all!
Perhaps you are not all that tall.
But your indecent, yellow crown
I happily would call my own!
[Verse 3]
By petals bright, by sunlit cheer,
emerging bold, you reappear.
In meadows wide, where shadows fade,
you dance in light, seem unafraid.
[Bridge]
So here’s to you, dear coltsfoot bright,
of hope a symbol, spring a light.
In every spot I see your grace
your message is, life is to face.

And So It Is[Verse]
The darkness is demanding.
The light it wants to end.
Itself, though, on depending,
much feel it cannot spend.
[Verse 2]
The darkness is demanding.
The light it wants, as thing,
to be on it depending
for surity to bring.
[Chorus]
The darkness would not copy,
the darkness dark, in fact.
But lightness was not floppy
and made with it no pact.
[Verse 3]
It said, You should be sorry
no standard you have got.
A clever one will worry
and not contain a lot!
[Bridge]
The darkness would not take it.
The darkness would be some.
The darkness did not get it,
no question of to come.

What We Celebrate[Verse]
On Christmas Eve, the Son was born.
And as important as the corn,
which in the winter turns to bread,
He is. To man the Son is head.
[Verse 2]
At Easter died The Son of Man.
The Justice off to Heaven ran,
and man and woman understood
that to the sinner this is good.
[Chorus]
The tale be whispered through the night
of how the Son brought back the light.
And of the Girl. She did not fight,
though, focused on the being right.
[Verse 3]
At Pentecost The Girl was born.
She is the new seed of the corn.
Called consciousness, the Girl addressed
the man as stupid or as blessed.
[Verse 4]
From rising sun to setting day,
the Son and Girl have paved the way
for people lost and wandering,
to find the peace they’re hungering.
[Bridge]
Where man and woman once were blind,
the light of truth they now will find.
From valleys deep and highlands fed,
the Girl the Son sees as the head.

The Fountain Pen[Verse]
There was a clever fountain pen,
made not to be much glad.
A thing cannot be gleeful when
it is. It must be sad.
[Verse 2]
But this thing really would not hate.
It thought it was a toy!
And as a toy it would create,
for sadness to be joy!
[Chorus]
A fountain pen, of course, was not
what it was. It was damned.
That name was given it, was got,
so it should say, I am.
[Verse 3]
In fact it was a he, that pen.
In fact he was a boy.
And, he did choose to be damned when
he was to God a toy.
[Verse 4]
A fountain pen to God his gate,
as poet he was good.
By lovely words he did create.
That was quite understood.
[Bridge]
The morale of this poem is,
that being damned is not
so bad if one is good by this
by motive one has got.

[ 11 ] Lyrics
The Work OutAt first was chaos. And so when,
it woke for to become a pen.
As it to be, it would be one.
Its quality had to be done.
A knob it was. That was its name.
As such, it was not of much fame.
From poverty it was to rise.
So, made were springs and trust device.
And neither that is much of worth.
To save, the third was made on earth.
Ink cartridge it was called, that which
made trust device and springs more rich.
The three of them, though, was not much.
The tree it was not like, as such.
The fourth to save had to become.
By barrel made the pen was some.
That something now was made and done.
From chaos first, the being one,
in stages four The Love let bring.
Beginning was the joy of spring.
By every step The Lord did save.
Of course, the pen knew to behave.
Though, by Messiah that thing came
to be alive; - a thing of fame.

Fresh As A Branch[Verse]
A morning mist on silent earth,
so fresh the branch, so new its birth,
upon the vine, where hopes entwined.
And dreams like leaves in shadows lined.
[Verse 2]
Through rain and storm, through sunlit days,
life carves its path in winding ways.
With every twist, with every turn,
the branch grows strong, has much to learn.
[Chorus]
What competence do people need
for in life's trial to succeed?
It surely is a healthy heart.
It counts to have in making art.
[Verse 3]
The roots dig deep, the branches high,
reaching for the endless sky.
A world that waits, so vast, so grand.
We grow as one. We understand.
[Verse 4]
The winds may blow. The shadows fall.
Yet, still we stand, though weak, though small,
with hearts so full and spirits bright.
We face the dark, embrace the light.
[Chorus]
What competence do people need
for in life's trial to succeed?
It surely is a healthy heart.
It counts to have in making art.
